Wednesday Wisdom for Writers and Those Who Love Them

"I love being a writer. What I can't stand is the paperwork." —Peter De Vries

I regularly have to remove piles of paper. Some of it is manuscript, others are things I print out to read later (and rarely do), and still others need to be filed because I'll need them for taxes or something equally daunting.

It's all better with friends.

  1. Unfortunately, I have the same problem, Peg. When the paper stacks get too high, I tend to load them into a box. Six months later, I throw the box away. Works just great!

    1. Isn't that the truth? And if you're like me, most of your paper has been printed on both sides. And it's always a relief to have everything gone.

One of my guilty pleasures is finding expired coupons. No decision necessary.
